Upcoming release 「twilight」by haruka nakamura is now making good and swift progress in the production plant and we will be moving on to album assembly after all the offset printing was completed today. It will be packaged in the form of a 24 pages hardcover book of album notes and polaroids by the artist. We are probably a few days away to the final product and very looking forward to reveal a more detailed packshot of the packaging then.

haruka nakamura's twilight is iTunes Japan single of the week!
We are pleased to announce that haruka nakamura’s track “twilight” (taken from his upcoming album of the same name) has been selected by iTunes Japan as the single of the week! This track also features April Lee of aspidistrafly on vocals. We are very excited and even astonished at the same time that it was selected ahead of all releases in Japan this week. We hope that you would enjoy the track as iTunes Japan is giving it away as a free download for a limited time only, from 30th June to 7th July. The album “twilight: will be officially out in stores nationwide in Japan and rest of the world from 15th July.

「Préludes」by haruka nakamura (piano) + masumi TIPSY saito (dance)
A video excerpt of the special performance held last month at the Old Gotanda School in Japan. Watch masumi TIPSY saito’s beautiful dance performance as haruka nakamura coaxed an equally evocative improvisation on the piano much in the same vein as his upcoming “twilight” album on Kitchen. haruka nakamura’s anticipated 2nd album『twilight』is now available for pre-order! Exclusively at Kitchen. In this special site, scenes of urban quietude and the dwindling light over Futako Tamagawa, Tokyo provides visual parallel to the album to be released on 15th July.
