Opitope :
Optiope is a duo formed by Date Tomoyoshi and Chihei Hatakeyama in autumn 2002. Tomoyoshi's music was previously introduced as best demos on the Fat Cat and Mille Plateaux site and make his first appearance on the Spekk compilation "Small Melodies". Chihei has released his first solo album in 2006 on the Kranky label (US). In 2007, they released the album "Hau" on Spekk. Together, they also organize music event series "Kuala Mute Geeks" and manage the label "Kualauk Table".
Naph :
Naph is Toru Ohara from Tokyo, Japan. He is interested in the uncertain sounds within the nature. He mainly uses field recordings and puts it into his self-programmed Max/MSP patches to sculpture unique sounds. He is also the bassist of the group RdL. He has made appearances on various compilations including "Small Melodies" (Spekk) and "Springs, re:makes and mixes of RF" (Odd Shaped Case)
