Meitei announces Sen’nyū Talk Event at Daikanyama TSUTAYA, Tokyo

To celebrate the release of Meitei’s latest album and photo book Sen’nyū, a work that reconstructs forgotten Japanese landscapes through sound, a special talk event will be held at Daikanayama TSUTAYA in Tokyo

Produced as part of Beppu City’s 100th Anniversary project, Senyū explores the culture of the onsen (hot spring) through both music and photography. Joining Meitei will be producer Kenzō Fukagawa and photographer Hiroshi Okamoto, who shot the images for the accompanying photo book. Together, they will share stories and insights from the making of the project.

The event will also feature:

Playback of rare field recordings captured during production
Viewing of selected photographs from the book, with behind-the-scenes commentary
A signing session after the talk

This is an offline event held at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books. Participation requires purchase of an eligible product.
