Announcing Ryuuta Takaki ‘Jewels’

KITCHEN. LABEL presents Jewels, the debut album from Tokyo-based composer Ryuuta Takaki, a radiant mosaic of Eastern esotericism and baroque splendor, entwined in a neo-Orientalist dreamwave.

Inspired by Symbolist painter Gustave Moreau and the Kegon cosmology, Jewels unfolds as a mandala of sound, where every resonance reflects the whole. Takaki’s music suggests the kaleidoscopic qualities of Susumu Yokota meeting a Narada-esque new age landscape. A new voice from Tokyo’s alternative wave, he opens a path where mysticism, memory, and imagination shimmer like a Silk Road synth-woven mirage.

Jewels arrives October 24 on CD & digital, mastered by Chihei Hatakeyama.
