MEITEI announces AGATE Japan Tour 2026 in Fukuoka

MEITEI will bring his latest album AGATE, released this spring, to Fukuoka for the third stop of the tour, following performances in Wakayama and Gunma. The performance will take place at the Noh Theater of Sumiyoshi Shrine.

The tour has so far taken place at Wakayama Castle, known as the former residence of the Kishu Tokugawa clan, and Miyosawa Akagi Shrine, situated on the slopes of Mount Akagi — two historic sites, each carrying its own layers of history and memory.

For the third stop in Fukuoka, the Noh Theater of Sumiyoshi Shrine, a shrine with a long history in Hakata, will become the setting where the soundscape of AGATE encounters yet another distinct space.

We invite you to experience MEITEI’s performance as it continues to evolve through the unique acoustics, sense of time, and accumulated memories of each place.
