Announcing Hiroshi Ebina ‘Into the Darkness of the Night’

Hiroshi Ebina returns with “Into the Darkness of the Night,” a lullaby for the sleepless. This follow-up to “In science and the human heart” deepens his serene analog dreamcore, crafted for the quiet hours of the city night.
Inspired by his partner’s insomnia, Hiroshi offers a sonic balm for restless minds and sound health, exploring the nightly ritual’s profound and sacred nature.
Through nine tracks, the album mirrors our nightly descent into sleep, from twilight’s bright synths to dreamscape’s mid-range tones. Minimalist sound design using music boxes, wine glasses, and Eurorack synthesizers, with sounds fed through a half-century-old NAGRA IV tape machine.
Releasing on September 27, 2024, via KITCHEN. LABEL, “Into the Darkness of the Night” will be available on limited edition transparent blue vinyl LP, CD, and digital formats, with artwork by Yoichi Onoda and mastering by Joseph Branciforte.
