Ryuuta Takaki is a Tokyo-based composer whose music opens realms of mysticism, memory, and imagination. His works emerge like radiant mosaics, each tone a luminous fragment suspended in a constellation, echoing with symbolic traditions, Eastern mysticism, and a neo-Orientalist dreamworld that traces the Silk Road. Within these mosaics lies both sacred stillness and ornate intensity, inviting listeners into expansive spaces where time slows and boundaries dissolve.
Before arriving at this voice, Takaki moved through alternative hip hop, electronica, and club culture. The dissonance of that environment led him to divide his practice: one direction exploring experimental R&B and hip hop with the label MAKRAN, the other under his own name devoted to expressing inspiration, mythic systems, and metaphysical images without relying on culture, context, or worldly standards. In doing so, he has given shape to a musical domain carried since childhood, releasing a dimension of sound that feels timeless and unbound.
