Ryuuta Takaki shares visual memo of ‘Jewels’
Ryuuta Takaki shares a Visual Memo, offering a quiet reflection on the ideas and inner landscapes behind his album Jewels.
Rather than referring to jewels as objects of brilliance or value, the album treats them as small, personal fragments of memory — moments, emotions, and impressions gathered over time, each carrying its own weight and glow. In the film, Ryuuta speaks about how Jewels emerged from a gentle dialogue between Eastern and Western ways of thinking. Rather than positioning them in contrast, the album allows both sensibilities to coexist: intuition and structure, stillness and movement, restraint and openness.
The Visual Memo functions as a companion to the album, allowing listeners to step closer to its contemplative process and emotional core.
